Hey guys! I am still accepting more game ideas just like yesterday! But a little more info on me. First, I live in the US and i'm also a male. I have a skill level of intermediate (more like mediocre lol) for coding and making games. So i'm not a complete rookie but i'm not an expert either.
Whatever the case may be, I still would love to see what kinds of games you guys have in mind for me to make. Once I get a good idea, I will give you in-game credit, and will start to make the game. First will come a prototype, then a demo, and finally a full game.
Questions? Hit me up in the comments! Be sure to like this post and follow me for more updates, dev logs, and community events/projects. Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for reading this beefy post lol.
I didn't expect to see a game developer on here! I don't have any suggestions at the moment, but I'd like to know, when did you start coding?
I started making games with unity and coding with C# (C# is the programming language) in late August! I have always had lots of fun making games, showing them to friends and overall being able to pour out all of these creative thoughts onto something tangible. But besides that, thanks for commenting! Hope this helps
@CodeSmoke Awesome!! Do you have any tips on developing games so far? I plan to start early with learning code so I can become a game developer and get creative, too.
@Genos Sorry for the late response, but at the moment I don't have many tips, but two tips I can give you that are very valuable are 1. Don't ever give up and persevere through the troubles, and seek online help when stuck
2. Don't work on one project for long periods of time frequently dude to the fact you can get burnt out easily and not want to work on the project anymore (some people burn out quicker than others, and very few don't at all)
Hi @CodeSmoke i'm a beginner coder who uses python and i'm making a game that's called "Dungeon Grind" a text based game (Because of aesthetic) but, there are some flaws such as not knowing how to make a XP mechanic, basic currency mechanic, and a Inventory system. I just wanted to get tips and templates even though you use C# but still help a person out.

P.S I know it sounds like begging
Nah dude, it doesn't sound like begging at all. If you want me to make those into tutorials I can!
@CodeSmoke sorry about the late response but, yes! it would be greatly appreciated. Thank for your help this will help me alot!
Well, hello there fellow dev. I've wrote c# for more than a year and a half. I also made games in unity, but in the end learning c++ is more fun that c#
Cool! Have you ever used Unity before? Unless you have, what game engine have you used before (if any)?
Make a game that used the idea of dreams affecting the real world. maybe starting on a small scale like nightmare on elm street but progressing to affecting reality itself.
That's actually a really good idea, I will give that one a lot of thought :)
If it does become a full game I’d love to test it :) unless your just gonna do it on your own.
Sorry, using alt account, but yeah. I would love to have you or others play test my game!
Sure just dm me on Twitter @ QuasiFour312 if you ever need anything from me :)
@Quasi k, thanks! I'll keep that in mind.
